A management survey is the standard survey. Its purpose is to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation, and to assess their condition.

To enable our clients to achieve key compliance, Asbestobel is able to review the existing asbestos policy and procedure documentation and propose how best the asbestos management plan can reconcile with this.

 

In the absence of documentation, Asbestobel can work with the client and create bespoke documentation.

We carry extensive insurance and All staff have been trained for working with non-licensed asbestos containing materials.

 

This means that when repair to damaged asbestos is found necessary, our teams remediate on the spot  without the expense of mobilising licensed asbestos contractors

Our strategy supports clients in reducing the inherent level of uncertainty and to see that the necessary information is obtained to enable the associated health and safety risks to be reduced to the lowest reasonably practicable level during usual daily operational activities along with minor maintenance works.

Refurbishment  and demolition surveys are designed to identify in order to remove ACM’s prior to refurbishment or demolition works.

This is an intrusive access survey where all ACM’s should be identified as far as reasonably practicable where the intended works are planned and where previous management surveys do not provide sufficient information.
